Barclaycard Platinum extends interest free balance transfer period

Looking for interest free balance transfers? Barclaycard has increased the balance transfer period on its Platinum card to offer 16 months interest free on transfers.
Barclaycard Platinum (www.barclaycard.co.uk) is now the joint market leading credit card for balance transfers after extending its interest free period to 16 months.
The card comes with a 2.9% handling fee and also offers 0% interest on purchases for the first three months and a typical APR of 16.9%.
In addition Barclaycard Platinum customers will benefit the reward scheme “Barclaycard Freedom” which provides reward money in thousands of retailers across the UK without the need to carry additional cards or vouchers.

With the Barclaycard Platinum customers can also use contactless technology - payments of £15 and under can be made by simply holding the card over a contactless reader.
