What does American Express offer?

American Express, often known as Amex, was founded in 1850 and has been providing charge cards since 1957 and credit cards since 1987.

Having been in the credit card business for decades, Amex knows how to attract customers and it now offers many different credit cards, which come with a variety of different benefits. Which will be best for you depends on what you want from a credit card and how you will use it. When comparing deals, ensure you look at how much you need to spend to take full advantage of the benefits.

Also, remember to pay your balance in full at the end of every month, otherwise any rewards you earn may be wiped out by the cost of paying interest.
