Halifax Go All In With Bonus

Halifax is rewarding all-in-one card holders with a special bonus.

New and existing Halifax (www.halifax.co.uk) all-in-one credit card holders will be granted an extra month’s 0% on both balance transfers and purchases, extending the interest free period from 10 to 11 months.

This exclusive bonus offer is only available until 21st September.

Only customers funding their Halifax current account with £1,000 or more per month, customers who have a Halifax Ultimate Reward current account and customers transferring their current account to the bank are eligible for this bonus.

Ken Stannard, Head of Halifax Card Services, had the following to say:

“We're delighted to offer this exclusive All-in-One credit card deal to our new and existing current account customers. It's a fantastic offer which could save our customers hundreds of pounds in interest payments”

He continues:

“Whether you would like to reduce the cost of your spending, reduce the cost of outstanding debt through a balance transfer, or both, with this 0% for 11 months offer the Halifax Exclusive All-in-One card is ideal."

Chris Eagle, Commercial Manager at Credit Choices, has the lowdown on the all-in-one credit card from Halifax:

“The all-in-one credit card offers an APR of 15.9% typical variable, and with the new bonus in place you’ll also receive 11 months 0% on purchases and 0% on balance transfers”

He continues:

“By offering 0% on both balance transfers and purchases, the cardholder is encouraged to spend at will. This is a bad decision for anyone already in need of a balance transfer card, so try to use the card for either the purpose of transferring a balance, or the purpose of receiving 0% interest on purchases.”
