American Express boosts its Platinum cashback credit card with 0% on purchases

American Express has boosted its Platinum cashback credit card with a six-month 0% on purchases deal.

The Amex Platinum cashback credit card (www.americanexpress.com) also offers:

  • 5% cashback in the first three months up to £100
  • Up to 1.25% cashback after the first three months without a limit on how much you earn
  • No annual fee
  • 19.9% APR.
Customers get double the benefits when they spend on their card

The American Express Rewards card (www.americanexpress.com) has also got a new feature of 18,000 bonus points for people who spend £500 in the first three months.

The Express Rewards card also offers:

  • 0% on purchases for the first six months
  • Points for every pound spent at the major supermarkets
  • Two points for every pound at department stores
  • One point for every pound spend elsewhere
  • No annual fee.
  • Typical APR of 17.9%.
