Halifax Credit Card
Halifax (www.halifax.co.uk) is based in Edinburgh and is now part of the Halifax Bank of Scotland Group (HBOS), after a merger with the Bank of Scotland in 2001. With more than 22 million customers, HBOS is now a major UK banking power.
The Halifax offers mortgages, savings, current accounts, personal loans, insurance, investments, share dealing, travel services and the Halifax credit cards.

What does Halifax offer:
There are three main types of Halifax credit card: the Halifax One card, and two charity-affiliated cards. As they are all MasterCards, they are accepted in millions of outlets worldwide.
Each Halifax credit card (including the charity cards) gives customers introductory offers on balance transfers and purchases, no annual fee, up to 59 days interest free credit for paying the balance in full, online fraud protection, and extra cards for family members.
Two Halifax charity credit cards are available, in association with Cancer Research UK and the NSPCC. With each, Halifax will make a donation to the charity with every purchase you make. The bank will also make a larger donation when you first use the card.(Read our Guide to charity credit cards.)
