The Breakthrough Breast Cancer credit card
Breakthrough Breast Cancer is a UK based charity committed to fighting breast cancer through research, campaigning and education. The charity was founded in 1986, and now offers its campaigners both training and tailored information services to help them become better advocates of the Breakthrough cause.
What does the Breakthrough Cancer credit card offer:
Each time you use the Breakthrough Breast Cancer card at any till, or through a merchant, a donation is made to Breakthrough by the card issuer MBNA.
A £40 donation to Breakthrough is made when you first use the card, provided that you applied for the card online. If you applied by post, the donation is reduced to £5. A further £2 donation is made to Breakthrough for each year that you use the card. Also, 0.25% of your total spend on the card is given back to Breakthrough.
